“There’s just something about the outside of a horse
that’s good for the inside of a person.”

As a photographer specializing in western lifestyle, I’ve been lucky enough to capture love in the prairies to the Rocky Mountains of Western Canada. In all my experience one type of love has always stood out as special and infinite; that between a horse and their rider.

My western roots and the witnessing of this unique love is what has inspired “Bay Hoss” and I feel I’ve discovered a way to truly externalize the partnership between a horseman and their special equine. The “Bay Hoss” title is namesakes after my own 4-H, ranching and rodeo experiences and if we want to break it down a little further - I have a very special bay OTTB sitting in my pasture.
